Indian cricket

Indian cricket in I have been one of the biggest critic of Greg Chappell and the time he was appointed coach of Team india, I had the feeling that he came to divide and destroy Team India and not to rebuild. Saurav' leadership showed Australia that Team India is a force to reckon and almost spoiled the Steve Waugh farewell in 2004.

However I liked one comment of Greg Chappell that if you want to play cricket like Aussies, You can not run like Zimbabwe. Now he is proving to be just right after seeing the way BBCI is running the show. This goes on to show that the reins of India cricket is not in safe and Professional hands. No country can afford to run now a professional sport Cricket in a polical way. The current bench of incapable jokers led by Sharad Pawar wants to run professional body in a politacl way will prove to be another disaster for sports loving Indian public. The group failed miserably both in the handling of Team selection and coach selection.

First BBCI must remove Dilip vengsarkar as Chairman of selection committee. He is the biggest culprit. First he said Laxman is not good for one day when Team was selected for South africa then Laxman was sent as replacement, and made vice captain. Next He made Sachin as vice captain for World cup and named no one as vice captain for Bangladesh tour. Now there are two Vice captain one for test Sachin and Dhoni for One day. How Sachin is no good a vice captain. then he should not be in one day squad. Vengsarkar is not having a balanced mind. By picking Gautam as replacement for Schwag for both one day and tests in England, he has committed another blunder as Gautam record is no comparison to Schwag. It is true Schwag has not been performing to his potential but what about Gautam as He could score against the weakest attack and Gautam record against quality opposition is very poor and is far from impressive..

Team India or Mumbai india as more than half of the team is from Mumbai, remove a player and take replacement from Mumbai.

Do not know where the Team India is heading for????

Bring in Professionals to run Indian Cricket before Cricket also goes in the same way as Hockey went.

Please do not worry about Indian Cricket. All the Indian Gods(100,003) have answered your prayers.

The next BCCI president is going to be our own Laloo. He will do the same to Indian Cricket of what he did for Indian Railways. Hope he does not do a Bihar to our Indian Cricket, but looking at the current situation things cannot get any worser than this. He became the President of Bihar Cricket association as his only son(of 10 children) loves to play cricket.

Who knows Junior Laloo might lead India(move over Tendulya !).

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....

"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
