But its a good income for the desis who do this from desh. $100 pm if they have 10-12 kids seeking tutoring, its more than 40k pm tax free. Home based business.

Is it through Internet or video or a combination?

This has been going on for a while, and quite popular in the US. It's thru a live video conferencing. The tutoring institute has offices in the US, but the actual tutors are in India. They usually charge on an hourly basis.
