First time home buyer can take advantage of HOME BUYERS PLAN wherein each spouse can withdraw up to $20,000 each from his/her RRSP without paying any penalty to purchase a house. There are certain conditions for this which I have explained in one of my earlier postings but would welcome to explain them to you over phone. You can call me any time at 416-560-6951. Alternatively, you can get a free guide named HOME BUYERS PLAN from CCRA (CANADA CUSTOMS & REVENUE AGENCY) which gives you detailed information about this plan. This is also available on their website at http://www.CCRA.GC.CA" rel="nofollow">LINK

Read the article on RRSP covering First Time Buyer Plan posted on the site. A tax payer may withdraw upto 20000 from RRSP for home purchase and repay the same over 15 years.
