We are new to Canada, before coming here I have being reviewing CD discussion for quite sometime to get to know how thing move here... as it is said you always have to learn it harder way....

Anyways we came here in Oct. 06 and do not have friends here except for one or two...
My wife is missing her friends back home as we use to have a group to go out every weekend and make a trip once a year....we are about around 28-32 with one daughter of 6yrs we stay on Don Mills and Sheppard. We are looking for like minded couple for building new relationship of friendship and also be in touch with our culture…though I am not into gujju culture as I was and brought up in Chennai, but my wife is…
I have observed that most of them are living either in Brampton or Mississauga or Scarborough…hardly anyone in Toronto, I understand it is because of cost of apartment is less in these place…but it is not that high in proper Toronto too.

I hope I would be able to meet or talk to couple of them soon.

I also stayed in Don Mill and shepard, in Metcap rental apartment. Now I bought house and moved to Scarborough. I have two kids 15 years and 8 years.

I work in downtown, came from USA.
