Now with on 8 more ODIs to go before World Cup ... what are your thoughts on Combination???

Openers:
1. Sourav
2. Sachin

3. Dhoni (Floater)

4. Dravid
5. Yuvraj

6. Karthik or Kaif
7. Harbhajan
8. Agarkar or Pathan (Depends what you want Batting or Bowling)

9. Powar or Kumble
10. Zaheer
11. Sree

To make it 15 - Some Names to Talk & Pick: Raina, Uthappa, Sehwag, Gambhir, Badani, Rohit Sharma ... ... ...

Jaffer does not fit in ODI and so as Laxman.

I would not have picked Agarkar - but just because he was the only performer in that series in WI.

I would hate to not see Karthik in the final list. Not just because of Last Test. But he actually was the only batsman performed with some sort of consistancy - whenever presented a chance.

Powar to me is more of a Test Bowler ... but @ 9 is the obivious choice. Kumble has to be in the List to add some solidity & experience.

Top 2 is perfect. Left and right handed combination works well most of the time. I would go with Uthappa at 3 followed by Dravid. Munaf Patel is missing here. He is better than Agarkar when he is physically fit. Raina would be a good choice in the middle order with challenge from Sehwag.

Is anyone planning to go to WI to watch the matches?

I want to go and would like to have some company. I could go for the semis and finals.

Bus can carry only 15 Players.

Wicket Keeper - Dhoni

Out of 7 Bowlers ... Zaheer, Sree, Harbhajan, Kumble, Powar.

For other Two - we have three choices Pathan, Agarkar, Munaf.
Pathan is getting in (more likely). Munaf is better choice when fully fit and when bowling at his top pace. He has dropped the pace considerably. On top of that, Agarkar was the only bowler with some consistancy in that WI Tour.

Out of 7 Bats ... Sourav, Sachin, Dravid & (May be) Yuvraj is Fixed.

For next Three Kaif, Uthappa, Sehwag, Raina, Karthik.

Karthik is good choice coz he can get in for injured Dhoni. I would love to see Uthappa ... then drop Kaif or Sehwag or Raina. They could substitue Uthappa with Karthik, as he is used to be Keeper, to save one place.

And Floater has to come at #3 to bat Deep. Dravid surely prefers 5 bowlers with 2 spinners.

I was browsing and searching for tickets last month ... To My knowledge everything is Sold Out. I am talking about Direct Purchase and not sub agent.

And anyways, It was not possible to get only for Final & Semi without buying for some other matches as well ...
In order to be eligible to apply for a Semi-Final ticket, you must apply for a minimum of two tickets for matches during the Group or Super 8 stage.

To apply for tickets to the Final you must apply for a minimum of three matches taking place during the Group or Super 8 stage.

To be eligible for tickets to one of the Semi-Finals AND the Final you must apply for a minimum of three tickets for matches in the Group or Super 8 stage.
