After his "dismal performance", Irfan Pathan has been sent back to India to play in Ranji matches.

Hmm...what abt Jaffer? At least Pathan scored a century that helped to win the warm up game. Something is rotten here. BCCI is quoting his one day stats in SA. Now the tests are going on which has nothing to do with one dayers. And Jaffer is in very poor form.

when they made ganguly play in the renji for sometime he has regained form...( god knows how much )

this is the thinking behind irfans flight back home.... they hope he will re invent his lost aroma in bowling.....

the kerala lads good show has given the selectors to go with this decision...

this is a good sign though..... i think more players need to be rested so that they realise that getting into the team is no joke...

dedication is what is lacking in the indian team....
see how pollock took a wonderful catch in the last match and the aged aussi players cleaning the out field with their jearsy when they field.....

Just before 4 tests, Jaffer scored a double centry in West Indies. Isn't it enough for him to be in squad for another 2-3 tests?

WI bowling is not as good as SA in test matches. Taylor and Bradshaw are no match for Ntini, Pollock and Nel. So far Jaffer has failed in test and warm up matches. He is in the second test. Hope he will do some justice for his inclusion.

More than Jaffer, Sehwag needs to go back. Today, Jaffer looked comfortable. Only one shot that he was avoiding - and he was out trying that perticular Drive. So he is working on it and ready to Grind it out.

Not everyone has patience like Sachin - when it comes to 'not to Drive' when not comfortable.

In the 1st innings, chasing 328 runs Tendulkar scored 63 runs, but left the crease when the team had hardly registered 125 (for 4) runs on the board. Now it is a typical Tendulkar let down situation having to knock off 350 odd runs to win the game with 1.5 days play remaining. Being one of the greatest batsmen of all times compared to the likes of Richards and Bradman, he really owes it to the country to guide the team to victory till the last run need to be scored. If not always he should do it atleast once in a while and not always follow a not so good example of his illustrious predecessor who scored 36 not out in full 60 overs in a World Cup match in England.
