hi guys,

i am new to this group.i am an mechanical engineer.i wanted to do ms in mechanical engineering.as i was told i had low scores i cannot get addmission in universities.i was adviced to take up post graduate diploma in mechanical engineering and transfer the credit to masters program.
i want to know is pg diploma a good course to get a good job in canada. any one pls help me to take a desicion.

Who said low scores wont get u seat in Univ????/ Did u even give it a try???? How bad is it 40%????? I am sure not that bad even then if u give proper explanation u may secure a seat, Dont go to agents, they will promise u Univ and make u end up ih PGDIP so dont go to them, u can access most of the univ by internet and try doing that.

See what the Univ wants and try to focus on that aspect. Write to them, if it requires call them and talk to Addmissions authority. ( Before all this get ur Degree evaluated to Canadian GPA that helps a lot) If u have further quries send me an Email will try to help.
