I love the fact that we have so many beautiful parks all around where we live.

I like the fact that in most places, you don't get to jump the line if you're a dada or a gunda.

I like the fact that strangers smile or wish you good morning when you go for a morning stroll

I also like the fact that the country entertains people who themselves choose to live here yet have absolutely nothing good to say about it., especially in a thread meant specifically for that. :p

Here's to you, Canada

Allright, this thread has an overhelming number of posts which point out the positive points in canada.....and you noticed the odd one that doesnt.....

And you blame others for being negative.

And the thread was about whats good in Canada and not what other should or shouldnt think about Canada and not what Canada does "entertains" to them....

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.

I hope you have landed in Canada by now. I have just joined the chat group so I am answering to some of the chats. I have been living in canada for 9 years now and I really like it over here. There is a wealth of information on everything over here. Make sure to use library facilities as much as you can and don't hesitate to ask questions. First couple of months are hard for anybody because of new culture, country, regulations etc but gradually life comes on a set routine. Most of the time people are very friendly if you are friendly with them. Any questions or help don't hesitate to ask.

Good luck

I don't think any country including canada 'entertains' people. We are here because canada needs us, remember most of us came here under 'skilled labor class' immigration category. People work hard, pay their taxes and avail the facilities. I don't know how you are being 'entertained' by canada.

But yes, you might be right. There might be some people Canada actually entertains....like the pizza shop owner in Judy Sgro's case, canada 'entertained' him for eighteen years before kicking him out.....you are not being 'entertained' in the same way. Are you?.....just wondering......:D
