Guys --

We are assuming that the OP wants to "fake" a resume.
I am re-reading the original message, and there is no evidence to indicate that he/she is trying to fake a resume.

Isn't it possible that he/she wants to review a sample resume to ascertain what kind of tools and projects to gain familiarity with?

Patrick :
She / he says :

I have IT experiene in Visual Basic & knowledge of asp.Net so I want to switch over on ASP.Net - can anybody provide sample resume for ASP.Net ?

Meaning :
He /She has Knowledge (not experience) but would like to make a resume based that he/she knows and has experience in .net technologies for a possible job. She/he may also would want to learn on job.
The OP is a recent migrant to Canada from India and in India most people learn the technology on the job so the OP may want to try the same technique in Canada. Nothing wrong in that.
Can any one from .net side send him/her a sample resume (with contact details blacked out) so that we can prove that CD website Desi's do help new immigrant Desi's.

If I wanted to move my platform to LISP or ADA tomorrow (for example), I will want to know what kind of resume commands attention.
I will want to know what my resume should look like (what keywords, catchwords, etc.) I need in my resume.
I might learn a technology by reading a book or whatever, but that does not prepare me with a solid resume that gets selected.

Anyhow, that's my personal opinion - I could be wrong though.

I just wanted to give the guy/girl the benefit of doubt.

I never did it. I can understand if people do it out of desperate situation (new immigrant looking for their first job). But sometimes people just want to make the biggest buck and they are willing to do anything for that.

Nope. You are wrong. I know guys without any experience who made it thru the interview but were fired after the probationary period

You can know what the industry is looking for looking at the job ads. Most of them specify the tools you may need to know e.g. If it is a job on J2EE they may ask for experience on some middleware server like Weblogic / Websphere etc

By the way there are tons of resumes posted openly on the internet
