Hi all CD members,
We are expecting our second child in November. The other day we came across some brochure regarding 'Cord Blood Bank'. We were thiking of banking our baby's cord blood but there are so many different companies with different charges.
Has anybody here on this forum ever used such services? Could someone give any reference?
Thanks and Regards,

The Cord blood services are very new and pretty expensive to maintain. Their "advantage" has not been much in the present times but in the future it "MAY" be very beneficial.
So read about it before and decide if you really need it. They are all more or less the same and newly started

We will find a way or we will make one
Stem Cells in Cord Blood can be used to cure many Disease. They call it "Master Cells" ... it definitely makes sense.
I am no Doctor, but as far as I know, the list is quite Impressive. They are even trying to 'fix' LifeStyle Disease through it.
It is still not a common practise and with any New Technology there are Opinions, Speculations and some think to an extent of Conspiracy. Amont Associated with it is also quite huge - lil less than 2k per anum (when I was looking).
