Hi Folks

I have been approached several times by some desi's at Malls and other public places , where they start a conversation about having your own business and if I am interested to make extra income with this business in which there is no selling required. I am not sure how it works but I know a lot of people in our community are into this . If any one can shed some light on this , It will be great . Whether its a good business or just a waste of time??. Thanks

I do not know why the MLMs say no selling is required. If you do not sell, how do you make money?

There are already previous threads on MLMs, Amway, Quixstar, etc.

But i have seen people who dont have any jobs and they are doing just this business.( Quikstar ) .Do you think It will give them enough income to survive a family of 4 .

There is one success story posted on CD http://www.canadiandesi.ca/read.php?TID=9641

There would be plenty of failures too. Depends on your ability to convince and sell, dealing with lots of rejection, etc. MLM is not for everybody for sure.

Vivek,

BWW is part of Quixtar. I have attended one of their seminar.

The concept is that you become a Quixtar member and buy Quixtar products at discounted Quixtar rates. Then you need to find people who become members and buy their products or you can sell the Quixtar products directly to them (non-members).

You get bonus points on your purchases as well as purchases by members in your chain.

So, definitely there is hard work and sales effort. Also, you may have to use Quixtar products and market them to convince others to use them.

Cheers

All these amway,Quixstar are so much in few US cities that even any desi is talking to you a little bit more or even asking you lot of Q then it seems he is Quixstar guy.

We are so fustrated these guys that they start anywhere anytime to sell/market their ideas.

Better is if someone start asking lot of Q, simply ask you are Quixstar guy and tell i am not interested.
