GG,
Thank you for your view.
Unfortunately in Canadian Housing Industry, PM's may just be high school drop out/ High school pass. He is in this job b'cos he happened to be born as an Italian. Anyways, This individual is Boss to a qualified Senior Design Manager.
Unfortunately, I do not agree with Jake 3D. It might be a simple offfice spat if the country where this event took place was located outside the America's. Would the same PM , feel the same way that i am advised to be, if i used the word/ incident on him. I feel we are equals only if i can curse a Native cdn. in the same way and then get over the matter with a trival apology. If you see his e-mail, even his 2 nd. e-mail was haughty and racist. Any he pays my boss and not me, thus may be he can get away by insulting my boss but he has no right to use the same word / attitude to me. This is a country of self respect , equality, decency and lawsuits.
Anyways, This incident has created a deep resentment in me and it may be weeks for me to get over this incident.
Do the majority of Cd's feel that i should stop it at this point , having got an apology from him.

I sure hope you do not go to some native reservation and curse someone minding his business just to get even with this fr*k(who I'm assuming is not aboriginal) guy.

But hey, its a free country. :p . Go curse all the natives you want ;)

For the other new immigrant reading this.
Please, whenever anyone wrongs you(or you feel that way), dont jump to assume that its because of your status in Canada or your race. Deal with it person to person. This will only help you get ahead, not in the least by NOT letting you waste your efforts fighting imaginary demons.

Just for the record,
The word "Fri**in" is a slang used for the "F" word. Being abused in Canada with that word (for no fault or provacation of mine) is not a thing to be taken lightly. And when i was talking of the Native Cdn. I was meaning the white man. Actually we should allow the real natives to abuse the white man for snatching and using the land that originally belonged to them .
The latter part is just my views.

Sidenote :
Look at the decent reply from the senior design manager/ other PM for the same mail i sent to Fra*k :
{
use eng drawings that were supplied to u and draw them in
....................that's the best we got...........ma**y
}

While such things are rare, it is not unheard of. What you are outlining is an email in which somebody expressed their frustration. Actually I wouldn't even really consider this abuse.. though obviously it's rude. In some circumstances, I have seen managers cuss at employees in meetings, thus in front of others ,which I would believe is even worse than on email. And just to note, neither party involved was an 'immigrant'.
So such things happen, not that they should and frankly I think that for the single email that you received your retort has been more than required and you should let the matter rest.

How do you know if fr*ks is not a second generation immigrant? Maybe his parents came from poland/russia/s.africa/france etc when he was still a kid.

I think you are racist but thats just my view. It's probably due to you feeling inferior to whites. The predictable reaction from some is to hate the person who makes them feel inferior, based on shallow points of reference like skin color.

OK Guys!
My initial post was not to make the incident racist but i do admit that i made it look that way in the latter posts. I was extremely insulted b'cos it was the first incident in my professional life where i was worded like that.
and he had the cheek to comminicate such words in my office E-mail Inbox. Let me give the benefit of doubt and assume that it was not a racist incident.
My question is :
If i pass the same remark on another person (immigrant or otherwise) and if i am slapped with a lawsuit, who would win? (I may anyway consider going to a lawyer who does free initial consultation to get an opinion).

Completely understandable! The guy did behave like a jerk.

Its a one off incident for which he has apologised for being a jerk and promised he will not let it happen again. He also has the written proof of the apology. As such i dont think you currently have a case.
