And the "Facts" are probably like 10 years old. And some of them are not even true anymore. Azim Premji isn't even on the top 10 list anymore.

He's been replaced by Laxmi Mittal, although I'm not sure Mittal's #3.

Are you there?

It would be good idea to do some research and post a list of things which we Indians are NOT proud of.
Probably it will be way much longer then your present list.

Success

To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded. Bessie Stanley

How about doing some research on Canada and posting things that Canadians are NOT proud of. Or is that there is not a single thing in this country that citizens will not be proud of?

It's such a tragedy. India is the only country in the world where it's own citizens love to and are proud of shredding it prestige to pieces.

Facts to make every Indian proud
These facts really make us proud. However, are we not highly individualistic in India? Has it got something to do with our history of the last 1000 years? We dont want to administer us ourselves, but would like to outsource it to somebody else. Our Namaken Vambu (Why get involved) attitude is very frustrating. Because of this, in a state like TN or Bihar, money meant for the poor is siphoned off by people in power. The corrupt leaders would proclaim, they were born to serve the people until the last drop of blood is left in their body, but in reality do the opposite. To set things right,as a first step, people should start voting 100% to instil some fear in the politicians that they cannot give false promises and get away. As of now, the voting (excluding all the bogus voting and malpractices) is hardly 50%.
