hey everyone..asusual m confused again...i applied for the student visa on this 9th dec in new delhi embassy..but dese embassy people r so sick...dey gave me a paper..in which its written dat v r currently varifying the information you provided..plz wait for our office to contact u.do u think dey wld contact me..as dey rejected most of the visas dat very day..me and one more guy got the same paper...and same thng written in it...m so worried.as i hve paid d fees in the college moreover embassy christmas hold r approaching near...dey also asked me not to contact dem.as dey wld contact me demselves..wat wld i do?wats all dis for?

First question: when does your classes start? If the classes are not starting till say February I would go and sleep at home.

thnx for replyin bak..my classes r gonna start from 5th jan of 2004...but i hvnt got ne reply from canadian embassy..how can they keep me in dark..hve neither rejected my case nor accepted it...gave me a paper..in which its written v r curretly varryifyin the information,wait for our office to contact u..wat does it mean..i hve got 10 days extension from college.but if high commission wont contact me..den 54000 wld b deducted from my tution fees,,suggest me somethng

Hi Vishal,

I can understand your situation, I applied for a study permit last year around the same time as you, my program was starting 2nd jan and I recieved the visa on 12th of Jan, so I had to postpone my joining date.

I suggest you also talk to your program co-ordinators and tell them about your case, they understand all these problems that international students face so they will be able to help you.

u got yr visa on 12....but atleast u were hving the medicals with u??in my case they hve not yet given me any medicals..dey gave me the paper in which its written v r currenty varyifying the information you provided..wait for our office to contact u...wat does dat means?
atleast they sld give me one reply...acceptance or rejectionnow its more den 10 days..and no response from embassy

If you haven't recieved directions to get your medicals done then there is only one thing I can suggest...

"postpone your travel plans buddy because you won't be able to make it"

Sorry I am not being sarcastic on that note but believe me you, it is going to take some time before your visa is processed, that is if they decide to issue you one. I would say you will be through only by the end of Jan.
