Now, any "consulting firm" that offers you job guarantee's during immigratuon are a bunch of fraud's.. Be very very very very careful of them. Find out all details. Skim the internet for horror stories etc., and you will save urself a lot of money and heartache !

ps: these people have been known (and caught repeatedly) posting on various newsgroups and websites relating to immigration as "clients" of their own firm trying to portray a positive image, so be careful about any positive responses you get... chances are, its them...

The whole N American continent is a BIG SCAM. One has to be very very vigilant in doing anything and everything. Before you sign any documents, read the fineprints 10 times. DO NOT SAY YES ON PHONE (unless it was initiated by you)
NO to Primerica / Clarica etc. Not that theyare frauds, but one can't expect fix income. I would rather advise such people to join Edwards Jones.
No to jobs for sales of POWER companys. They advertise as if you' get like $21 per hour and then in a very tiny letters, it's mentioned, ON AN AVERAGE.
AMWAY / E-COMMERCE / QUICKSTAR etc...NO NO....
There are many life insurance agents mktg income tax saving scheme wherein you donate some amt of money, get recpt for tax exemption and ultimatley end up getting higher refund....something like that....don't fall for it.
One can also check the website of Ontario Securities Commission to check all the frauds going on in the economy.
Thumb rule is hardwork pays more and makes you feel better.

Your statement itself creats the situation. The so called marketing skills in North America makes a person not expert in selling but to expert how to defraud another persons. Most of the advertisemets are nothing more than a fraud. The language is manipulated.
Very first day of the school this year , my kids got free pass to ZOO stating "free admission - one kid with one adult". We some of the friend whose kids alos got such type of free tickets went to visit the zoo under impression that one adult admission is free with one kid. On the entry to zoo we were told that one kid was free with one adult paid entry ticket. How come? Is this not a manipulation of language?
Guys, be careful dealing over phone, with strangers and over net.

These companies do not pay you by the hour. It is all commission based. If for one sale, they pay you $50, they expect you would make 10 sales per week and get a cheque for $500 a week. If you divide $500 by the number of hours that you put in, you can get $20-25/per hour that is advertised. Some companies do not deduct tax since they consider you as independent contractor (not employee) who is responsible for own taxes.
It works very well for some people and does not work for some people.
