I had given interview for part time CSR call centre position at the new Rogers Brampton centre and they selected me and asked me for references. I gave them my references, however, its been 2-3 weeks since then and I have not heard back from them. I also tried emailing them but no response.
I was wondering is there anyone on this forum who is working with Rogers or has been selected for the call centre position? I want to know have they started their operations at their Brampton centre with the new selected CSR's or are they still in the process of checking references of all the applicants?
Anyone having info on this matter plz reply. Also plz suggest me what should I do next - Wait for their reply or somehow try to contact them?

Can you share more about the CSR position with Rogers that you got interviewed, in terms of - wages per hour / shift timings and if you know about the job - whether its customer service or technical support?

The reason you were interviewed for Brampton was cause Rogers bought the Nortel building near Bramlea and its quite a beautiful building i must say.
So some departments are being moved to that location in the coming months. No fixed time frame yet and its different for each department. Hence if you went through a recruiter i suggest you contact them for an update. if you know who interviewed you and gave you their contact info, then do check on an update.
The salary and wages are also different for each department.
BTW Hem_13 check the Rogers website and workopolis also for openings. I know the Wireless tech support department is looking for technical consultants and its helpful if you have A+ or MCSA / MCSE. The pay is quite good if you have your certifications. French helps a great deal.
