We have moved to a house which is 35 yrs old. The driveway is not good with the asphalt slightly sinking in two places. Previous owner never bothered to do anything despite living there for 20 yrs. Anyway that's past.
We are going to do the new driveway which is abt 50 ft long and 16 ft wide. The estimate came at $3.3k (plus GST). They are proposing to completely do the driveway (with 6 inches of scraping, etc).
Anyone done their's recently. Am told that the asphalt prices have gone up due to rise in oil prices. Any ideas if the estimates are reasonable?
