Hello imcan !
It seems that you got visit visa and applied for PR for your wife as well.
Can you plz tell me the posibility of getting visit visa if already applied
for PR ? Is it wise to disclose abt the PR application while applying for
the visit visa ? Otherwise how did you manage it ?
Can I apply for my wife's PR while she is on visit in Canada ?
I am planning to apply for my wife soon but I want to bring her quickly.

I am guessing ( based on messages posted on CD) Delhi consulate will start processing the application two to twoand half weeks after the date posted of your E-CAS. So in your case you might see something in 3rd or 4th week of April. Whole process might take two to 2 1/2 months after your sponsorship approval.
Did you receive your letter of sponsorshipapproval from CIC, Mississauga, If yes, hown many days after you have seen "Decision made" on your E-CAS

I recieved the letter 5 days after i saw decision made on the ECAS. So it was updated on the Website immediately.
Now how does the New Delhi office updates it is still to be seen. On an average how much time does it take to process in INDIA and Also is it adviseable to apply for a visit Visa meanwhile.

I saw Decision made o monday on my E-CAS. I am hoping to receive letter sometime early next week. I think it take 2 to 2 1/2 months at New Delhi consulate. I am not sure about visitor visa. You are so close getting all the stuff done so why now. If I were you, I would wait..

I was concerned since at CIC u never know it may even take longer. Even i am thinking of waiting for 2 more months and then think about VISIT VISA. I aksed this question just in case i need to opt for it.

Hi frends,
Today my eclient status shows "DECISION MADE".It shows "we have sent a letter to you on may 11th".Was wondering what would be in that letter???Thought of callin CIC CALL CENTRE,but today is saturday and i think they are closed.Anyways will have to wait for that.

What kind of income information do we need while sponsoring spouse only?
I know if you have spouse and kid you need to fill in the financial evaluation form but if it only spouse then there is no financial information form?
Also i plan to go to india, get court marriage only without a function and engagement done and then come back, i hope that will not be a problem?
any comments?

Donot ever do this mistake. Now a days CIC is not approving each and every indian marriage for PR.
The facts that they need is :
1. Good prior verbal/ letter/ phone call contact between bride and groom before marriage.
2. Function of Marriage and Engagement with atleast 100-500 people at the wedding.
3. Proper wedding card printing etc....
So decide carefully and contact someone who went through similar process before doing what you stated.
Since , these day , a lot of Punjabi's are doing fake marriage for the purpose of cheating/ money gaining , CIC New Delhi is very careful.
Just my thoughts. Use at your own risk.
