Hi,

Are there members in this group who are from Trichy, Tamil Nadu?

I am a Senior IT person by Profession moved from California, USA, I'm in my early 30s and have a small family (Wife + 5 yrs old Kid).

I am trying to get in touch with families/Individuals from Trichy, my beloved Hometown. My family (Wife and Daughter) is joining me in Toronto by end of May 2006.

I beleive it could be helpful in exchanging information about Trichy, local interests or any mutual assistance back home including Travel back and forth between YYZ <-> TRZ.

Hey JRF,
I am from trichy. Studied at vestry and REC. I lived in Woriur.
Last time , i went to india, i was in Erode. Did not go to Trichy. I have a cousin who lives in REC campus. Since i made enimies with the professors, i did not go to the campus. Most of my dad's relatives still live in Trichy. I studied in vestry from 1983 (7th std.). I left trichy in 1994 after i graduated from REc trichy. My wife is in india now and she will come back to Toronto in may end.

I donot have family members in Trichy but my relatives are there. I almost know everyone in Trichy b'cos it is a small town and i have a very very wide network.

sidenote : We also have lands and relatives near Samayapuram (Purathakudi Village to specific) but otherwise all our contacts are in Trichy Downtown (Woriur, Thennur, Puthur, KK Nagar, Thillai nagar, Palakarai etc...) My dad was born an brought up in Trichy downtown.
