Retail Sales (commissioned)
Starting $7.95
If you are good at sales, customer service, interpersonal skills: expect approx $15-$17
After 2-3 years $20-$25
I know someone making $45-$50 per hour in a retail sales job!
Agreed, Iceberg.
Depending on the dept. & store you are in, you could make that kind of money.
For sales guys who sell to corporate companies, etc. the salaries range from $2500 to $5000 per month (more of entry level or couple of years experience). Ofcourse for immigrants, the experience level could vary from 10-20 years for this kind of pay - if you are lucky to get this kind of job.
Rgds.

I work at the Home Depot as a Project Coordinator for Renovation projects and make $13/H.
I'd like to know if there is anybody else in my position.
Thanks

Easy or tough - I cannot answer for you. Some people just walk through while some really deserving do not get a job. I do not know what is enuf for you. But based on the ranges in my earlier post you have to decide and plan your budget. But having said that, a single guy can manage within $1500-$1800 p.m.

Mostly these stores pay hourly rates. Start with $7.5 and may be $10

Names like Future Shop, Leons, The Brick, Sony Store, Sleep Country, Sears and many more. But remember $45 is not common but is being made by some guys. More realistic figure would be $20-$25 in 2-3 years of time. Some previous exposure to reatil or B2B would help perform well in the job. To get into a retail job I do not think any retail experience is necessary but can help.

Yes

For retail GTA / Southern Ontario is preferable.
thanks...
