Dhanyavaad for reply Pramod. Actually consulted with solid people and many saying legal. Only first my usual tax person saying it is not on up and up. So it raising doubt in apla mind. And he doing only simple returns.
This year apun having 2 many variables and original tax person not very versed and telling me apun doing garbar ghotala but it is not so.
Apun did preamble to Smith Manoevre and already last year paid down 15% of my mortgage principal. When apun going to my bank with check, the lady asking me solid paper trail for the check as more than 10,000.
Lakin anyway, no regrets having undertaken it. Already this year have also over paid monthly on mortgage. Trying to pay down 25% before markets deciding to go bear. O/w to pay down 25% would taking solid years yaar.

Lakin kya hai, market tezi mein hai is liye. Actually my first financial advisor, Indian aadmi, telling not to do manoeuvre, tolding me ke "tu Gore log ke chakar main pas jayenga, aur bhari parenga", because the advisor with whom apun doing manoeuvre is "Gora".
Now seeing how apun ne 15% pay down doing on mortgage, he attended seminar and now doing on himself- bol bhai!

Many people calling me and asking me if you and me are having personal contacts. I am telling everyone that i donot know you personally. Many people want to meet you in person and want to ask you in detail about your investment ideas, smith maneouvre, LOC borrowing and investing in excel funds (OPM) etc...
I think may be if you can give a lecture many CD members would like to attend.
Anyway, we will wait for your comments regarding this.

Ekdum would be solid pleasure to meet you and other CDs.lakin apun not financial advisor.Apun can tolding what apla financial advisor tolding me but as for ideas they are not mine, all his and he is "Gora". Apun ko koi qualms nahin in dealing with Gora.
Personally,apun asking many Indian financial advisors and not finding them giving creative financial techniques,only sidha ones.
Asking Pramodji if knowing about Smith Manoeuvre did he ever practice on himself yaan suggest to anybody? Yaar,making mortgage interest deductible by swaps and also accelerating payments on mortgages using OPM.Apun not thinking any Indian financial advisor capable of this,lakin apun not minding to be proven wrong.
If there are,%age of those to whole number of Indian financial advisors will be chintoo
