Nakhrali Dhani.......OMG! I still remember that just after marriage, me and my wife visited Indore and I took her to Nakhrali Dhani. The moment we entered, we were greeted with 'Haar and Tilak' and my wife was like WOW!! What a warm welcome. And then....woh jaadu wala....rasse pe chalne waali chhoti ladki.....bandar-madaari......ped ke neeche baithe gaane waale aur chhote bachon ka dance......disco.......aur phir 'Khao saa....thoda aur khao.....thoda ghee lo saa......eh bache...saa ko pankha karo....'....yummy food....daal-baati....
Our favourite place was: MHOW and Choral. Me and my local friends used to go to Mhow even at 1.00 in the night. We used to go to Parsvnath for a sweet paan after dinner and all of a sudden one of our Mhow friends would call and invite us for a chai near bus stand at 12.30 in the night. I still remember GF
Kachori on our way to Mhow.Saaya ji was too good, esp. the Bowling Alley. Since we had corporate discount (RPG Cellular) with Saaya ji, for us it was like: Chai peene hai? Chalo saaya ji chalein.
Indore is like 'no comparison'!
