We are expressing our views only. I dont see any need to get angry. We r grown up adults.

Yes quite. I apologize for getting 'angry' earlier, however I stand behind my views.
What pushes my buttons is the perception that I have heard from many others that morals are higher in people raised in India as compared to Canada.

Also plz answer the questions I have posted regarding what government benefits you want to give your daughter etc.

Thanks.

MR,
If you read my posts very carefully you will understand that i said that the chances of my daughter getting spoilt in Canada is greater than the same chances for her in India. I did not say nor imply.that Indian people have greater moral standards than canadians.
With my limited friends in Toronto, i know 2 families who are sending their young teenage sons to india (to be in a boarding school b'cos they are unruly, have bad company, do immoral things such as watching porn and parents canot beat their children in Canada. OTH , I have never heard of parents bring their children to be educated in Canada b'cos they have been spoilt in India. (meaning : no one applied for immigration to canada just b'cos their children have been spoilt at a school age and that by educating then in Canada that they will have high moral / Ethical standards- But people do this in india by joining their sons. daughters in gurukuls). They generally bring their children to study in a technologically advanced country.
The govt. benefits that i was talking to you about :
1.CCTB
2.RESP
3.NRI Admission standards in India
Hope it answers your query.
You can PM me if you need the contact details of the families that i am talking to you about.

Im sorry this has been your experience of Canada. I know there are many many problems for Immigrants in Canada ..and I decided that in any way I can..I would try to be part of the solution..rather than part of the problem. I cant change your circumstances..nor could I change it for my spouse..but step by step..we need solutions.

I will say however - that many thousands of youth grow up here without getting into bad trouble..that do their homework..that are close to their families.. etc. It all depends.

Good luck.

I do know & hear of many people who have returned or are returning to India due to various reasons like

1. Lack of proper job in US/Canada.
2. Not being able to adjust to the social structure here & lack of social life for many.
3. Very good job offer in India.

Recently there was a guy who returned to India on a salary of 3.5 lac rupees per month in the IT sector.

I am finally returning to India next month. Got my tickets booked for 23rd March. Ofcourse I do not have any job offer in hand:b ;)

Will be starting life all over again. Plan to do something on my own in computer sales/insurance field.

Rgds.

hi Rajan,
so you have decided finally to come back to india.
i think you have stayed there in canada for about two and half years.why not complete three years stay and get a canadian passport. this way you will have always option open for you and your kids to move canada again.
After staying back for long in canada certainly initially you will find lot of things in public life not in order. but after a while you will become used to huge crowds, heat , lack of basic facilites and lawlessness in india.
I know you have taken your step for home coming after considering all the facts and circumstances.
wish you all the best in settling back in india.

If you have been in Canada for more than two years, it is prudent to get the citizenship. Otherwise these two years may mean nothing in the future and shall haunt you for the rest of your life - should I have taken the citizenship?

As far as insurance is concerned why not practice that in Canada. IMO the insurance industry is much better organized, pays more and ample scope to be independent. If you have decided to be independent and work for your future, why not give a try in Canada? Remember the Indian market is very unorganized and unregulated. What I mean is that there are no entry barriers to get into the field. Any Tom Dick Harry can become insurance sales agent. These people may not succeed but they are in the market taking a share of your business. The same does happen here, but the percentage is far lesser. To start any new venture anywhere needs loads of patience and hard work. Now to get used the Indian style of doing business would be another major deterrent. If you put the same dedication and hard work here, the results may be far better.

This just my personal opinion and you may not agree with this in part or full.
