How about starting a thread called "indian friends". we complain of the discrimination by the canadians here singling out immigrants..........arent we doing the same here ?

why not canadiandesi friends or indian friends.? does it make a difference really? why cant we just be "friends" from india and everywhere around the world? and we can learn from each other and enrich eachother? why the need to "cling to our own clan" ??

how are you all, i am using this site for a more than one and half years now today only came across the message about tamils and MACA, I immigrated around one and half years back even i started with only a Labourer job, i dont think so there is anything wrong in doing that job, instead of going to gym for fitness better to do a labourer job and get some money for survival in canada.
And personally i dont prefer Tamils going and joining MACA- They do nothing for new immigrants just collect money for membership(100 dollors) thats it. any indian or tamilian who comes to canada its a big amount for them.I dont think so they started that association with helping tendency. there are lot of NGOs like COSTI etc for newcommers you can find them in http://www.cic.gc.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK who do better than them.

As being a sri lankan tamil...i did laugh when I read ur msg abt my ppl. Many of my ppl are well educated. we don't respect indian tamils. Tamil actor vijay wife is also a srilankan tamil. i dont understand how sangeetha's parents did accept this marriage. ....

IT'S TRUE THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENCES BETWEEN US.(culture).coz THE CHIEF MINISTER HAS 3 WIVES he is a good example .....have u seen any srilankan tamil having more than 1 wife ?
