Can any one tell whether the professional qualifications like AMIE, AMIMechE, AMIChemE (from India) etc. are recognised in Canada. These qualifications are recognised in india as equivalent to Degree in their respective engineering discipline.

Your AMIE etc will not go totally waste and it will also NOT be accepted as such. You may be required to pass certain papers..
