I and my husband will be reaching Canada in Jun 06.

I have done B.Tech (Electronics & Comm), plus M.S. software systems. I am doing a university job here where I am taking theory & practicle classes for B.Sc. (Computer Science), plus updating university website using frontpage, asp and little bit of sql server (beginner level). My maths is good; plus I am open for teaching at any level.

My husband is B.E. (Civil), M.B.A. (International business) and M.A. English plus GRE. He is a lecturer for Business systems. He is also good in maths, science.

We very well know that initailly we shall be open for any kind of job and we are.

But we need a suggestion here. What are the careers we can plan for, so that side by side we keep studying for them on part-time basis. So that after 2-3 years we don't have to do any labour jobs.

while sitting here in India, reading all messages on forum, I am really confused. So a suggestion from u will be highly appreciated

Thanx and regards

Hello,
First you will have to decide which part of canada you are planning to go. Calgary is Oil/Gas business, Toronto has some EE opportunities. Let me know that first and then I can recommend
BS

We have 2-3 known people in toronto, brampton area. So right now we intend to land there. But we have kept our options open, incase we have good settlement chances elsewhere, then we will plan for other place also.
