Hi Everyone,
My cousin wants to come to Canada and become a teacher. She currently teaches MBA in ICFAI in India but i told her that will not be of much use here Was i right?
Also she is interested in teaching pre school children and disabled children
What kind of Education and Training should she pursue? How much time will it take her to become qualified to work?
Thanks,
Hi,
Would you mind clarifying what \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"ICFAI\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" is?

Hi,
Is it possible to do substitute teaching in schools in Canada without B.Ed degree?
If B.Ed is needed, how long is the duration of the B.Ed course?
Thanks for your replies.
No it is not possible to become a substitute teacher in Ontario without a B Ed degree. Theoratically, it is possible for a maximum of 10 days a year but in that case, the principal has to prove that no other teacher was available at on that day and hense a non-certified teacher has been called to substitute.

Ten days a year won't average even one pop-corn a day.
