Hi
Can anyone share their experience with IT training institutes in SAP\\Informatica\\Cognos in TO or mississauga.Good or bad any experiences, with recomendations.

Anyway, do u have basic training in IT, like bachelor in comp sc.
2. how did u decide to explore this area.
3. I am looking into this as someoone told me that u can start your sareer in SAP.
I am an engineer from IIT ( I am ready for studies and can do it, i think)but have no engineering experience.and looking for some education based career. Can you throw more light and give me some idea.

Cognos & Informatica can be picked up without going to a Training Institute - if you have access to software.
However, Toronto College of Technology has courses on Informatica & Cognos. They are expensive, specially the 3-part Informatica one.
Cognos is about 1000Cdn. Don't take it unless they teach you ReportNet enough.
Informatica is probably 3 parts - each costing around 1000Cdn.
Look around - you will get some pvt tuitions in Toronto and that will be far
cheaper.
Sorry, no idea about SAP.

SAP /ERP training
Here are my two cents.
Are you planning to take this training hoping that you could land a good job?
If yes, do your homework. First find out how is the market for SAP professionals. I work in ERP area though not SAP. The ERP markets go up and down. Only if there is a good job prospects, it makes sense to invest few thousand dollars in ERP training. Try to find out institute that can give you a job placement preferably gurantee. If I am not mistaken, i had seen some ads in free Asian newspapers like Canada voice where job placements were provided. Research their track record in providing job placement. All you need is foot in the door. If you have good educational qualification like CA, MBA, engineering from India and one yr north american experience, will get you good ERP jobs.
