Check dollar store like buck or two or dollarama
...the house of 220 on gerrard street, toronto if you dont find any in mississauga. I havent seen any dollar storescarrying 220V converters.

Before you decide to buy any convertor, you will have to judge or actually calculate the total watts you are going to connect to it, since voltage convertors come in different wattage - the higher wattge more expensive than the lower wattage.
I had once bought two convertors, which were like simple three way adaptors/plugs rated at 50 watts each. It would run you CD player etc. but not your amplifier may be!
The shop where I bought from was one at the flea market at Steels and Dufferin - but with the demolition of the market, god knows where have they shifted to.
