Hi, we got our PR 2003 october. Moved to windsor on 2005 April and commuting everyday to detroit for my work and my wife's study. (she started her study in Michigan before we got the PR). I have found that her college is eligible to get a student loan. can anyone tell me what is the requirement to apply for the loan? (we are living in widsor for the past 6 months only eventhough we got our PR two years back). I heard that we have to prove that we are living in ON for one year to get student loan? is it so? I would appreciate if somebody guide us on this. Thanks.

OSAP has 2 portions 60% Federal government and 40% Ontario provinical govt. In your case as your stay is less than 12 months in Ontario, you will get 60% Federal govt. portion only.
