Groups to share faith, hold peace walk in Chesapeake
Twelve faith communities in Hampton Roads plan to hold a peace walk on April 5. The walk will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at Unity Renaissance, a church at 1120 Eden Way, according to a news release. A potluck will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Spiritual sharing will follow the lunch and the walk will wrap up the event. 3 Indian Students Murdered in last 2 Months
A Duke University graduate student Abhijit Mahato, 29, was found shot to death at an apartment complex late Friday night Mahato was studying for an engineering doctorate degree at Duke's Pratt School of Engineering. The second year student was a graduate of Jadavpur University and IIT Kanpur in 2004. In December last year two Indian students,Kiran Kumar Allam and Chandrasekhar Reddy Komma, were found murdered on the campus of Louisiana State University.
